You want images that stand the test of time
My goal when editing your images is to make them look similar to what they looked like to our eyes when they were taken or a little better! However, I do not want you to see the editing when you look at your photos. I just want you to see the photos. Ten years from now I do not want you to look back and say, "That looks so 2020" or "remember that editing fad?" I want your images to be timeless so that your grandchildren just judge what you wore!
It's about the memories, not the poses
My goal when posing the two of you is to get you naturally interacting, having fun, and being yourselves. Even if this means me dropping low to the current tune playing or hyping you up! You want authentic and to be drawn to them. That is my goal! I might make you do something stupid to get you to that moment, so don't judge me when I make you join in on the fun. The beginning of our photo time will be more posed until you get comfortable and eventually are posing yourselves and forgetting I'm there. I want you to look back and see memories, not how many photos we took or how awkward some pose was.
Jessica is top notch! Professional, fun, timely, and crazy talented behind the lens. My Fiance and I hired her to do our engagement photos and she delivered pictures that were beyond our expectations. During the shoot, she was super easy to work with and helped "loosen" us up a bit for the pictures. She was great at having us pose in different ways to spice up the photos. Incredibly patient with us too as we changed outfits a few times. She sends the pictures in a way that makes it super easy to view and download. I absolutely recommend Jessic! I'm so glad we found her!

Jessica is AMAZING!!! From our family portraits with our two dogs to our engagement and wedding photos, she never missed a beat. She is uplifting and easy going! She's helped accommodate our schedule when our pup was sick, helped us pick between best places to shoot and even brought us hand warmers during our engagement photos. We've had emotional times and we've had happy times, she rolls through the emotions with you! Helping to keep the dogs photo ready by making animal noises, amping you up with music, dancing with you and your guests on the dance floor, to even helping with your bustle! She cares about her clients! and more importantly her work!

The quality of her work was incomparable. The gallery she delivered had everything - formal family shots, emotional ceremony shots, goofy candid ones, shots that made us feel like models, all of it! One of my favorite pictures is me & my now husband eating pizza Lady & The Tramp style because our group needed a quick pizza break in the middle of the afternoon. Aside from her insane talent as photographer, Jessica was super fun and awesome to work with the whole day. She was like an old friend who you felt comfortable with enough to joke around and relax.

I do! I have a small handful of wish-list locations that I would love to capture your wedding or elopement in! Please include your wedding location when inquiring and we can work out a custom package just for you.
Do you have wish-list location discounts?
Up to 20 miles from Cleveland or Akron is included in your engagement session and beyond that is a $1/mile. Up to 60 miles from Cleveland or Akron is included in your wedding package and beyond that it is $1/mile. If travel time is farther than 2 hours then overnight accommodations are needed.
Where do you live and how far will you travel?
Absolutely!! I jump at the chance to explore other parts of the country and the rest of the world. Travel keeps me curious. I'm happy to add your destination to my travel itinerary and will work with you to make a custom package that works for your wedding.
Do you travel to destination weddings?
A second shooter can be added onto your wedding package if needed. However, a second photographer does not automatically come with your package. I have several great photographers that assist me when needed. I will bring an assistant to weddings where I see a need.

All my images get color corrections and some light touch ups if needed. My goal is always to make the image look as close as possible to how the scene looked to our eyes. If more drastic retouching is needed, it is available for an additional fee.
How much editing do you do to my images?
I do my best to help you plan your wedding day timeline to accommodate for any time of unplanned events so that we do not run so far behind schedule that you need me to stay longer. But if something happens and you need me to stay, additional coverage can be added on by the half hour at the same rate as when you booked me,
If we are running behind schedule, will you stay longer than we booked?
RAW files or negatives are not available at this point in time. Most people do not have the software to open the RAW files and also I take great pride in the final product that I provide you and want to keep the images as consistent and high quality as possible. If there are any editing changes you would like, please let me know.
What about the RAW files and negative? Can I have those?
I sure do! I spend a good chunk of the year doing portrait photography. I especially love intimate portraiture, editorial, and playing with light and shadow.
Do you offer portrait sessions?

I would be happy to provide you with a list of general formal photos that I take on a wedding day and even include that in my pre-wedding questionnaire and ask for any special combinations that you might like. I ask that you not send an overall "shot list" as trying to shoot from a specific list takes away from the natural, authentic and candid moments of the day. Most likely, I plan on capturing all of those images on your shot list anyways along with many more!

I am a natural light, journalistic style photographer who focuses on capturing authentic moments and connections. I have a classic film editing style so that, in 20 years you don't look back and hate what your images look like!
How do you describe your style of photography?

Yes please! If coverage is over 5 hours, me an my staff are required to have a meal break. We are fine with vendor meals or whatever you are serving your guests. I recommend that we be served at the same time as the newlyweds so that when they are done eating, we are done as well and can start photographing the next event. If a meal is not provided for us then we require an hour to leave the venue to go get food.
Do we have to feed you at the wedding reception?
A retainer of 40% of your package and signed contract will reserve me for your wedding date. For portraits a 50% retainer and a signed contract is required.
